IT Associates are responsible for supporting the daily operations of an organization’s IT systems and Network infrastructure. Typical duties include:

Providing technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person for hardware, software, and network issuesand installation in a timely manner

Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, network infrastructure, software applications, and peripheral devices

Monitoring network performance, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and maintaining system security

Performing regular system updates, backups, and database management
-
Maintaining inventory of IT equipment and ensuring assets are up-to-date

Assisting in IT projects, upgrades, and implementation of new technologies

Documenting technical procedures and providing training to staff on software and IT tools
-
Collaborating with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues
Required Skills and Qualifications

Education: Typically a Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related fields

Technical Skills: Knowledge of network configuration, hardware and software troubleshooting, database management, IT security protocols, network implementation and onsite network construction

Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, MCSA, CCNA, or similar certifications are often preferred
-
Communication: Professional interaction with onsite staff as well as Corporate Network IT management
