Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Camera Algorithms & Firmware Engineer to join our team and help build high-performance imaging solutions for next-generation products.

In this role, you'll work across camera algorithms, firmware, and image quality tuning to deliver outstanding camera performance. You'll collaborate closely with hardware, software, and system teams from early development through product launch.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and optimise camera algorithms such as Auto Exposure (AE), Auto White Balance (AWB), and Auto Focus (AF).
  • Work on ISP tuning and image quality optimisation across different use cases and lighting conditions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for camera subsystems.
  • Integrate and bring up camera sensors and imaging pipelines.
  • Debug and resolve imaging, performance, and stability issues.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to characterise, validate, and improve camera performance.
  • Develop tools and automation to support camera testing and analysis.

What We're Looking For

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in camera systems, image processing, or embedded firmware development.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and experience with scripting languages such as Python.
  • Good understanding of camera ISP architecture, image quality tuning, and sensor integration.
  • Experience working with embedded Linux or RTOS environments.
  • Hands-on experience with camera bring-up, debugging, and performance optimisation.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Qualcomm, MediaTek, NVIDIA, Ambarella, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with OpenCV, machine learning, or computational photography.
  • Experience with multi-camera systems, HDR, or low-light imaging.

If you're passionate about imaging technology and enjoy solving challenging problems in embedded systems and image quality, we'd love to hear from you.
