Randstad is currently working with a manufacturing company that produces packaging solutions for their customers. Our client produces folding cartons, paperboard boxes, and cups using recycled or renewable paper. They work with big brands in food, drinks, and household goods to replace plastic with recyclable paper options. They are hiring Maintenance Technicians at their facitliy in Kalamazoo, MI.1st and 2nd shift positions are currently available. 2nd shift offers a shift differential of $1.25/HR. This is a Direct Hire position with our client. Qualifications:
- 3 - 5 years of Industrial Maintenance experience in an Industrial or Manufacturing Environment.
- Working knowledge of basic mechanical fundamentals.
- Performing tasks per instructions.
- Working well without supervision when needed.
- Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.
- Experience performing troublshooting, preventative maintenance and repair to mechanical, pnematic, hydraulic and electrical equipment.

Responsibilities
- Installing and repairing all electrical devices within the plant.
- Performing breakdown repairs, preventative maintenance and predictive maintenance on all production equipment, utilities, building/grounds, etc.
- Completing parts requisitions, work orders, time sheets, in the system.
- Working independently and on teams.
- Demonstrating safe work practices.
- Use PLCs for routine troubleshooting.
- Understand and complete all associated paperwork.
- Adhere to preventive/predictive maintenance schedules.
- Read and work from mechanical and electrical blueprints.
