Crosspoint Group is partnering with a well established manufacturing organization in Houston to find an experienced Maintenance Technician to support a busy production environment.
We're open to candidates with a strong mechanical and/or electrical maintenance background. Experience maintaining CNC machinery is highly preferred, but strong industrial maintenance experience with other manufacturing equipment will also be considered.
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot, repair and maintain manufacturing equipment
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues
- Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines and related production equipment
- Work with motors, drives, sensors, controls, pumps, bearings and other mechanical components
- Read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics and equipment documentation
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and identify root causes
- Document maintenance activities and follow established safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with industrial machinery and production equipment
- Ability to diagnose problems and perform repairs
- Comfortable using hand and power tools and basic electrical testing equipment
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
CNC Experience Preferred - experience maintaining CNC machines, machining centers, lathes, mills or related equipment is a strong plus.
