We are a third-party provider of foreign material detection services for the food industry. Using advanced X-ray technology, we help food manufacturers find and remove contaminants such as metal, plastic, glass, and rubber, down to 0.6mm. Our work protects consumers and our customers' brands.

About the Role

As an Inspection Specialist at our Flowery Branch, GA facility, you'll be a senior member of our Inspection Team, responsible for inspecting customer product for foreign materials on X-ray equipment. You'll also support shipping and receiving, pallet handling, and line support.

This is a hands-on, physical role. It's a great fit if you like staying active, take pride in accuracy, and want to work in food safety.

What you'll do

• Inspect product as it moves through the X-ray line, staying focused for 20-30 minute periods

• Operate X-ray equipment or assist operators in maintaining line speeds

• Watch equipment operation for malfunctions and notify the Inspection Team Leader

• Examine products to verify they meet quality standards

• Follow company SOPs, work instructions, and customer inspection protocols

• Protect product safety, quality, and integrity during receiving, staging, inspection, and shipment

• Receive and ship customer loads safely and accurately

• Move pallets with a stand-up forklift or walk-behind pallet jack

• Stack, wrap, repack, and tape boxes and pallets

• Feed, load, and unload product lines, conveyors, and machines

• Pack, store, and transfer product, materials, and equipment around the warehouse by hand, hand truck, or powered lift truck

• Complete inspection, receiving, and shipping records accurately, legibly, and in real time

• Correct documentation errors per document control practices, and tell your supervisor right away about missing, incomplete, or inconsistent records

What You Bring

• 2-5 years of warehouse or related experience (required; minimum 2 years)

• Quality assurance or food safety experience is a plus

• Forklift experience preferred

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay focused on visual inspection

• English required; Spanish preferred

Physical Requirements

• Stand or sit for 4-8 hours a day in a warehouse environment

• Work in cold conditions (40-50&degree;F) and, at times, outdoor conditions including heat, cold, and precipitation

• Lift up to 50 pounds

• Perform repetitive hand and wrist motions safely during an 8-10 hour shift

• Bend, stoop, twist, grab, and grip regularly and safely
