A growing technology-focused organization in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Lead Software Programmer for a direct hire, full-time technology leadership role. This position is ideal for an experienced Java and full-stack development professional who wants to stay hands-on with coding while guiding technical direction, mentoring developers, and helping deliver scalable software solutions.

The Lead Software Programmer will work closely with development, infrastructure, database, security, and business teams to solve complex technical challenges and support high-impact software initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support software developers while remaining actively involved in hands-on programming and application development.
- Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain scalable Java and full-stack software applications.
- Provide technical leadership across architecture, coding standards, testing, deployment, documentation, and production support.
- Conduct code reviews, promote development best practices, and support continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to resolve complex challenges involving cloud infrastructure, OpenStack, APIs, databases, integrations, and Linux-based systems.
- Support software modernization initiatives and assist with project planning, prioritization, and delivery objectives.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $80,000 to $150,000 annually, depending on experience, technical expertise, leadership background, and overall qualifications.
- Direct hire, full-time opportunity.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
