Job DescriptionAbout the Role
Join a customer-facing engineering team building and deploying custom AI agent systems for enterprise customers. You will own projects end to end, delivering production-grade solutions that support critical finance operations.
What You'll Do
- Work directly with customers to scope technical needs and translate them into practical software solutions.
- Build backend agent systems and AI applications, primarily using Python.
- Deploy and maintain production AI and LLM systems in customer environments.
- Lead customer projects from initial scoping through implementation and delivery.
- Explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical customer stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- Four to seven years of experience as a customer-facing software engineer, including more than two years of software engineering experience.
- Strong Python skills and production application engineering experience beyond AI/ML research or data science.
- Experience shipping AI, LLM, agent, or machine learning applications into production business environments.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Backend engineering experience, with familiarity in LLMs, AI agents, RAG, or agentic workflows.
- Experience leading technical customer projects from scoping through delivery and communicating with non-technical stakeholders.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience in both enterprise and startup environments is valued.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $180,000 to $220,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
Location
On-site, five days per week in San Francisco, California, United States.
