Location: Upper East Side, New York, NY (site + office)
Type: Full-time

About TRH New York
TRH New York (The Renovated Home) has renovated some of Manhattan's finest prewar co-ops, condos and townhouses since 1990. We work as architect, interior designer, builder and project manager, and we take on a small number of significant projects at a time. We run each one from first sketch to final punch item, and every detail gets the same rigor — the primary suite and the service stair alike.
The role
We're hiring an Assistant Project Manager to work directly with our team on active renovations from start to finish. You'll learn how high-end work in New York actually gets built — buildings, boards, trades and clients — and take on more responsibility as you show you're ready.
What you'll do
- Coordinate trades and subcontractors, and keep project schedules current
- Run and document site meetings, with clear action items and follow-up
- Prepare building packages, alteration agreements and DOB filings with our team
- Track submittals, approvals, lead times and change orders
- Walk sites, flag risks early, and keep clients informed in plain language
- Build and close out punch lists
What you bring
- 2–4 years in residential construction, architecture or project coordination
- Manhattan co-op or condo renovation experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable reading architectural drawings; AutoCAD
- Organized, precise and calm under pressure
- Clear, professional writing for clients, building managers and trades
Why TRH New York
- 35+ years of high-craft work on exceptional homes
- Hands-on mentorship from our team and exposure to every phase of a project
- A small team where your work is seen and counts
- MetroCard and team lunch three days a week
To apply: Send your résumé and a short note on a project you're proud. Applications without a note won't be reviewed.
