A Design Engineer job is currently available at Belcan in Cincinnati, OH. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline. In this job, you will support design for tooling for building aircraft engines.

Responsibilities/Duties:
\n
* Support equipment design and development
\n
* Design, including concept sketches and layouts
\n
* Preparation of specifications and design calculations
\n
* Reviewing and checking designs, drawings and data by subordinate engineers, designers, and vendors
\n
* Reviews design documents of equipment manufacturers or subcontractors.
\n
* Presenting engineering design review presentations
\n
\n
Qualifications:
\n
* BS or MS degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline
\n
* Skilled with Microsoft Office tools and possess some knowledge of modeling and analysis using one or more tools
\n
* Knowledge of industry standard practices and project organization; task supervision by
\n
* design/drafting personnel.
\n
* Experience with stress analysis, technical writing, and manufacturing process
\n
* Self-motivated, adaptable, highly organized and possess excellent communication abilities
\n
* Legal authorization to work in the US required and has or able to get security clearance
\n
\n

* Experience with NX or other modeling software
\n
