Employment Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $80,000 – $120,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Oversees both Waukesha and Cudahy facilities
Shift: 1st Shift
We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations at both our facilities. This role requires strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and the ability to lead and support maintenance teams while remaining actively involved in equipment repair and preventative maintenance.
The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined and comfortable working on industrial machinery, including replacing bearings, making mechanical adjustments, and performing routine maintenance. A strong automotive maintenance background is also acceptable for candidates with experience diagnosing mechanical issues, working with tools, and repairing equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee maintenance operations across at two facilities
- Lead, train, and support maintenance personnel
- Perform and supervise preventative maintenance and equipment repairs
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and ensure timely resolution
- Support production by minimizing downtime and maintaining equipment reliability
Requirements:
- Experience leading or supervising maintenance activities
- Minimum 8 years of mechanical, industrial, or automotive maintenance experience
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience changing bearings, troubleshooting machinery, and performing equipment repairs
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
