Title: Azure Cloud Engineer
Location: Audubon, PA
Job type: 12+ months Contract
Client: Direct Client
Key Responsibilities:
· Deploy, manage and support all levels of Azure Infrastructure – including virtual networking, storage, key vault, compute, identity, security and platform services.
· Work with internal customers and the cloud operations team to deploy applications and services in the cloud
· Evaluate, interpret and execute architectural designs, technical requirements against organizational standards.
· Combine cloud-native technologies w/ established on-prem practices to support cloud migration efforts
· Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) tools (Terraform).
· Support a complex environment across multiple business units, subscriptions and services.
· Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to define and evolve cloud governance, operational processes, and best practices for running workloads securely and reliably in the cloud.
· Diagnose and resolve issues related to Azure infrastructure related to connectivity, deployment and/or configuration.
· Leverage private link services, NSGs, firewall, encryption, RBAC controls and managed identity in tandem with automation and monitoring to simplify and streamline security controls.
Requirements and Skills:
· Associates or Bachelor’s degree
· Previous experience building and maintaining Azure-based infrastructure
· Experience working with dynamic, highly collaborative teams, requiring close consultation and coordination.
· Ability to produce high-quality work products and thorough documentation with attention to detail
· Ability to visualize and solve complex problems
· Preferred:
o Azure Databricks, Azure Redhat OpenShift & Azure App Services experience
o Working knowledge of python or similar coding languages
o Azure Policy & Defender for Cloud experience
