POSITION SUMMARY:

KANINI is seeking an experienced Senior iOS Automation Engineer / Lead with deep expertise in mobile QA, automation frameworks, and production support for business‑critical applications. In this role, you will lead end‑to‑end testing for iOS apps, drive automation strategy, manage high‑priority production issues, and partner closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless, high‑quality releases.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Support/Lead QA strategy and execution for iOS mobile applications
- Provide root cause analysis and coordinate fixes for production issues
- Support urgent business requests, hotfix validations, and release cycles
- Participate in release planning, risk assessments, and go/no‑go decisions
- Design, build, and maintain scalable iOS automation frameworks
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end test suites
- Increase automation coverage and optimize execution through CI/CD pipelines
- Perform API testing and backend validation
- Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, Scrum Masters, and stakeholders
- Mentor junior QA engineers and champion QA best practices
- Deliver test reports, quality metrics, and defect tracking updates
- Drive continuous improvement across QA processes and tooling

QUALIFICATIONS:
\n
- \n
- 8+ years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation
- Strong hands‑on experience testing and automating iOS mobile applications
- Expertise with XCUITest, Appium, and Selenium
- Strong programming/scripting skills in Swift, Java, or JavaScript
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Proven experience supporting production issues and mission‑critical applications
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
