Essential Functions:

  • Perform carpentry fabrications and repairs such as constructing crates and skids for shipping or storage of equipment.
  • Perform PVC, iron pipe, and copper pipe plumbing repairs and installations. Snake drains and open clogged and obstructed lines.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance on facility items including generators, air compressors, air dryers, fire pump, eye wash stations, fire extinguishers, boilers, sinks, and restrooms.
  • Perform building repairs, fabrications, and installations including dry wall and masonry, painting, lighting, and pedestrian doors.
  • Perform electrical and wiring troubleshooting repairs and installations.
  • Perform HVAC maintenance and filter replacements.
  • Perform daily checks of the facility doors to ensure plant security.
  • Maintain the facility exterior and grounds in a manner that eliminates clutter, safety hazards, and pest harborage areas. Ensure roof drains are clear and unobstructed.
  • Perform Work Orders in a timely manner and document all work in the CMMS.



Requirements:

  • Must have 3-5 years experience in the above listed essential functions.
  • Must be trained and certified in NFPA 70 for arc flash.
  • Must have Lockout/Tagout certification.
  • Must have PIT (forklift, scissor lift, and articulating boom lift) certification.
  • Must be proficient in the use of hand tools, portable powered tools, and powered shop equipment.
  • Must maintain a clean and safe work area at all times, utilize safe work practices, comply with GMP requirements, policies and procedures.
  • Must work well with others, foster a team atmosphere, and be able to work independently.


Education:
High School or equivalent or relevant experience (or other educational requirement).
