• 5-10+ years of critical environment or building engineering experience
• Experience in operations, maintenance and/or building engineering
• Experience using SOPS/MOPS/EOP’s/MMRs
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and critical infrastructure systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

Job Description
A leading global data center provider supporting mission-critical customer environments. This role is responsible for maintaining the reliability of critical infrastructure systems in a 24/7/365 data center environment while leading a small shift team of 1–4 technicians.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate 1–4 technicians during an assigned shift, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
• Support the operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, cooling, life safety, and critical power systems.
• Monitor and respond to facility alarms, prioritizing uptime and protection of the critical load.
• Utilize CMMS to track preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, work orders, inspections, and labor activities.
• Execute and follow SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, MMRs, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to complete maintenance and project work safely.
• Serve as a customer-facing point of contact for colocation clients and maintain accurate operational documentation.
• Support equipment switching, operational improvements, root cause investigations, and infrastructure projects.
