Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Site Director for our Electronics Manufacturing facility. This leadership role is pivotal in overseeing all aspects of manufacturing operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality electronic components and systems for defense applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in production management, supply chain coordination, and process improvement within a highly regulated environment. As Site Director, you will drive operational excellence, foster cross-functional collaboration, and lead a dedicated team to meet stringent quality standards and delivery deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the manufacturing site, aligning operational goals with corporate objectives
• Oversee production planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely delivery of defense electronics products
• Implement and maintain production management systems, including SAP, ERP, and MRP platforms, to optimize resource utilization
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
• Manage supply chain activities, including procurement, inventory control, and logistics, ensuring seamless operations
• Foster a culture of quality control and compliance with defense industry standards and regulations
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, quality, safety, and cost management
• Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, quality assurance, procurement, and production to achieve operational excellence
• Drive process improvement projects by analyzing data with tools like Microsoft Excel and supply chain analytics
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment for all employees

Requirements

• Proven experience in manufacturing management within the electronics or high-technology sectors
• Strong knowledge of production management systems such as SAP, ERP platforms, MRP systems, and manufacturing management software
• Expertise in lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma practices, and process improvement methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through team leadership and cross-functional communication skills
• Mechanical knowledge relevant to electronics assembly and manufacturing processes
• In-depth understanding of quality control standards applicable to electronics manufacturing
• Experience with supply chain management including procurement strategies and logistics optimization
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements specific to defense industry standards
