The General Cleaner will maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across commercial facilities, working independently or within a small team of 2-5 members. The role involves adhering to fixed daily schedules to ensure a consistently clean, safe, and welcoming environment without the need for specialized equipment training.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of commercial spaces
- Remove waste regularly to maintain hygienic conditions
- Maintain surfaces to prevent dirt and damage
- Clean and sanitize restrooms to meet health standards
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in cleaning roles
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating janitorial equipment
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling techniques
- Strong time management skills to adhere to fixed schedules
- High attention to detail for thorough cleaning
- Physical stamina for extended periods of manual work
- Understanding of and compliance with safety protocols
