Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified in a plant or industrial environment
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in maintaining and repairing heavy industrial equipment
- Basic electrical knowledge, including troubleshooting motors, switches, and control panels
- Welding and fabrication skills for making structural repairs and equipment modifications
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on crushers, conveyors, screens, and other quarry equipment during overnight hours.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues with plant machinery and systems.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential equipment failures or safety hazards.
- Keep accurate maintenance logs and document all repairs and inspections performed during the shift.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with MSHA regulations and company safety policies.
