Location: Bradenton, FL
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining facility equipment, systems, and infrastructure while helping drive a strong culture of workplace safety throughout the organization.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment and take pride in ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards. This individual will play a key role in supporting daily facility operations, identifying hazards, enforcing safety protocols, and promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on facility equipment and building systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing issues.
- Conduct routine facility inspections to identify maintenance needs and potential safety concerns.
- Help develop, implement, monitor, and enforce workplace safety procedures and best practices.
- Ensure contractors, vendors, and internal personnel are performing work safely and in accordance with established procedures.
- Investigate safety concerns, near misses, and hazards, recommending corrective actions when necessary.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs, inspection reports, and safety documentation.
- Support facility improvement projects, equipment installations, and preventive maintenance programs.
- Respond to facility emergencies and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Assist with inventory management of maintenance supplies, parts, and equipment.
- Promote a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous facility maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment required.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
- Working knowledge of OSHA standards and industrial safety practices.
- Experience conducting safety inspections and ensuring compliance with workplace safety procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and facility-related issues independently.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to promote a safety-first culture.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications are a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
