Summary
Our client is seeking an HR Data Engineer to support the design, development, and optimization of HR data platforms, ETL pipelines, and AI-driven data solutions. This role will focus on transforming raw HR data into scalable, reliable data systems while supporting automation initiatives, data governance, and advanced analytics capabilities.
Location: Herndon, VA (Hybrid – 60% onsite / 40% remote)
Pay Rate: $42-$48/hour DOE
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines, data integrations, and scalable data architectures supporting HR systems and AI-driven workflows.
- Develop and optimize data solutions using SQL, Python, APIs, and automation tools to improve data quality, reporting, and operational efficiency.
- Analyze structured and unstructured data, identify opportunities for process improvement, and support HR data governance and transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with SQL, Python, and ETL pipeline development in a data engineering environment.
- Experience designing scalable data architectures, working with APIs, and supporting AI/automation initiatives; Data Engineering certification is a plus.

This job is Hybrid Remote.
Pay Range: Hourly $43.00 to $48.00
