Facilities Maintenance Supervisor
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Friday: As needed, with scheduling coordinated between Maintenance Supervisors
Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Summary
Revere Staffing is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee plant maintenance operations and help ensure the facility, production equipment, and building systems remain safe, reliable, and operational.
This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, maintenance scheduling, workforce supervision, facility systems, outside contractors, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, strong mechanical and facilities knowledge, and the ability to lead and develop maintenance employees while working directly alongside the team when needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Manage daily plant maintenance operations and maintenance personnel

Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance

Work directly with maintenance staff to troubleshoot issues and complete maintenance tasks

Maintain production equipment and mechanical systems to support plant operations

Troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, structural, and hydraulic systems

Diagnose equipment and facility issues and coordinate necessary repairs or upgrades

Coordinate maintenance shutdowns with production to minimize downtime

Oversee larger repairs, facility upgrades, and renovation projects

Coordinate with outside contractors, review bids, and monitor project quality and schedules

Estimate maintenance costs and request necessary materials, parts, and supplies

Manage spare parts and maintenance inventory

Track maintenance-related expenditures

Maintain work orders, maintenance logs, inspection reports, equipment history, and regulatory documentation

Ensure maintenance activities comply with applicable building and workplace safety requirements

Enforce safe work practices, including proper Lockout/Tagout procedures

Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, maintenance processes, and overall plant performance

Train, coach, and develop maintenance employees

Perform additional maintenance and facility responsibilities as directed by management
Qualifications
-
7+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience required
-
Previous maintenance leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred

Strong hands-on technical and mechanical aptitude

Experience maintaining production equipment and facility systems

Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, structural, and hydraulic systems

Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance programs

Ability to diagnose equipment problems and determine appropriate corrective action

Strong understanding of workplace safety and OSHA practices

Ability to lead, motivate, train, and develop maintenance employees

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to communicate professionally with shop employees, office personnel, management, contractors, and customers

Basic computer skills

Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize maintenance needs in a manufacturing environment
Certifications & Safety Requirements

OSHA General Industry training
-
Appropriate Lockout/Tagout certification required when performing applicable work
-
Employees operating forklifts must be properly trained and certified in accordance with company requirements
Work Environment
This position works throughout an active manufacturing facility. The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor must be comfortable working around production machinery and performing hands-on maintenance activities as required.
The position may require standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and other physical activities associated with industrial maintenance and facility operations.

Long-sleeve shirt
Winter footwear without steel toes or metatarsal protection may only be permitted when working outside during winter conditions in accordance with company policy.
