• Demonstrated experience in data security / encryption engineering, including substantial hands-on
\n
administration experience with OpenText / Micro Focus Voltage SecureData
\n
• Hands-on experience installing, configuring, and administering the Voltage SecureData Appliance
\n
(SDA), Management Console, Identity Management, and SecureData Simple API / Web Service
\n
• Strong working knowledge of Format-Preserving Encryption (FPE), Secure Stateless Tokenization
\n
(SST), Format-Preserving Hash (FPH), and stateless key management
\n
• Experience protecting PII, PCI, and PHI data at rest, in transit, and in use across cloud
\n
(AWS/Azure) and on-premises / mainframe environments
\n
• Proficiency integrating Voltage SecureData with databases (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server), Hadoop /
\n
big data platforms, and applications via APIs/SDKs (Java, .NET, C)
\n
• Working knowledge of PCI DSS, GDPR, CCPA, and related data privacy / compliance frameworks
\n
as they apply to encryption and tokenization
\n
• Experience with certificate and key lifecycle management, HSM integration (e.g., Entrust nShield,
\n
Thales), and FIPS 140-2 / Common Criteria compliant deployments
\n
• Scripting / automation skills (Shell, Python, PowerShell) for policy deployment, monitoring, and
\n
operational tasks
\n
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix and Windows server administration, networking, and load balancing for
\n
appliance clusters
\n
Roles & Responsibilities
\n
• Administer, configure, and maintain the OpenText / Micro Focus Voltage SecureData platform
\n
(Appliance, Management Console, and policies) across production and non-production
\n
environments
\n
• Implement and manage data-centric encryption and tokenization policies to protect PII, PCI, and
\n
PHI data at rest, in transit, and in use
\n
• Partner with infrastructure, cloud, database, and application teams to onboard new applications
\n
and data stores onto the encryption platform
\n
• Manage identity, access, and key management configurations, including certificate renewals and
\n
HSM integration
\n
• Monitor platform health, performance, and capacity; troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to
\n
encryption and tokenization services
\n
• Support audits and compliance assessments (PCI DSS, SOX, GDPR, CCPA) by providing
\n
evidence of encryption controls and remediating findings
\n
• Develop and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and configuration/architecture documentation for the
\n
Voltage environment
\n
• Apply patches, upgrades, and security hardening to Voltage SecureData components; validate
\n
changes in lower environments before production rollout
\n
• Collaborate on disaster recovery and business continuity planning for the encryption platform
\n
• Provide Tier 2/3 support and act as subject matter expert for encryption- and tokenization-related
\n
requests from application and business teams
