Leasing / Assistant Property Manager

Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Position Type: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Leasing / Assistant Property Manager to join a multifamily community in Oklahoma City. We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of multifamily experience who is dependable, responsible, and interested in building long-term stability with a team.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, quick thinker, and problem solver who can confidently handle both leasing responsibilities and Assistant Property Manager duties, while staying organized and keeping day-to-day property operations moving efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Perform leasing activities, including tours, applications, follow-ups, renewals, and resident communication
  • Assist with day-to-day Assistant Property Manager responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive resident relationships
  • Assist with resident concerns, questions, and problem resolution
  • Coordinate and organize maintenance work orders
  • Track work orders from submission through completion
  • Monitor and track apartment make-readies to help ensure units are completed on schedule
  • Communicate with maintenance teams, vendors, and management regarding outstanding work
  • Maintain accurate records and follow up on outstanding tasks
  • Assist with property operations, administrative duties, and reporting
  • Utilize multifamily CRM and property management software
  • Maintain a professional, organized, and dependable presence within the community

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of multifamily/property management experience required
  • Previous Leasing Consultant and/or Assistant Property Manager experience
  • Strong understanding of multifamily leasing and property operations
  • Experience working with multifamily CRMs/property management software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization and follow-through
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly
  • Dependable, responsible, and consistent
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while also being a team player
  • Looking for someone interested in long-term employment and longevity with a company
