Responsibilities: Medical Brain’s clients include Health Systems/Hospitals and Physician Practices. The Director of Technology Operations has ownership of managing all aspects of our technology interactions with our clients including:
- Lead and co-own technology project plans for the deployment of the Medical Brain at clients’ sites
- Engage with clients and their IT Leadership Teams to assess intersections of clients’ technology ecosystem with the Medical Brain such as local networks, clients’ cloud systems, EHRs and healthcare data
- Collaborate with the Medical Brain’s Clinical and Account Management Teams in initial deployment and ongoing technology management of clients’ use of the Medical Brain
- Coordinate technical projects and issue resolution with client’s IT teams and the Medical Brain’s Account Management Teams
- Coordinate technical projects and issue resolution of the Medical Brain’s extensive data interoperability capabilities and platform
- Collaborate with internal HIPAA and cybersecurity compliance teams and vendors
- Manage a team of field engineers engaged in various activities above
Requirements and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology or a related field from an accredited US university
- Proficiency and deep understanding of the use of various clinical or administrative software such as EHRs, PMs, LIS or CDS platforms at a Hospital, Physician Practice or equivalent
- Proficiency and deep understanding of various healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR
- 7+ years of relevant experience at a healthcare software company or at a healthcare technology firm, Hospital, Physician Practice or equivalent
- Deep understanding of and experience with cybersecurity in healthcare including HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2 and related compliance measures
- Experience in leadership and project coordination of software deployment projects
- Excellent interpersonal skills for interaction with internal teams as well as clients and clients’ IT Teams
