Job Description
Award Winning Digital Services Firm in Ashburn, Virginia(1 day on-site a week) is hiring a senior software engineer for its elite applications team. This person will work on a large scale, data-driven microservices modernization venture utilizing: Java21, Spring Boot, React, AWS stack, DynamoDB, GitLab and Docker/Kubernetes. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced modern environment with upward mobility.

Must Haves:
\n
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
\n
- 6+ years of software development or similar work experience
\n
- Experience with Java and related frameworks: Spring Boot(preferred), Hibernate, JUnit, etc.
\n
- Experience with Javascript and related frameworks: React, Angular, and/or Vue
\n
- Experience with RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.) and SQL
\n
- Knowledge of agile software development methodologies and tools
\n
- Active DHS public trust or DOD Top Secret clearance or above required
\n
Great to have:
\n
- Masters degree/PHD in related field
\n
- Experience mentoring, leading teams with reports or performing code reviews is a plus
\n
- Experience with cloud technologies and AWS tool suite (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, etc,)
\n
- Experience with non-relational databases like DynamoDB
\n
- Experience with containerization tools (Docker, K8’s)
\n
