Position: Senior Frontend & Mobile Application Architect

Experience: 7+ years

Location: Ashburn, VA (4 days onsite in a week)

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Define and drive frontend and mobile application architecture, design patterns, and engineering standards.

\n

• Develop prototypes, proofs of concept, and reference implementations to validate architectural decisions.

\n

• Design scalable, modular applications using microfrontend architectures.

\n

• Conduct architecture reviews, design reviews, and code reviews to ensure quality, security, performance, and maintainability.

\n

• Improve development workflows, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions.

\n

• Leverage AI-assisted coding tools to improve developer productivity while maintaining code quality and security.

\n

• Collaborate with engineering, product, architecture, and DevOps teams to deliver robust solutions.

\n

• Mentor developers and influence technical decisions across teams without direct people-management responsibilities.

\n

• Drive application modernization, framework upgrades, and technical debt reduction initiatives.

\n

\n

Required Qualifications

\n

\n
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in architecture or senior technical leadership.

\n

• Strong hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript.

\n

• Experience designing or implementing microfrontend architectures.

\n

• Hands-on experience developing native iOS applications using Swift.

\n

• Experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.

\n

• Practical experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools.

\n

• Strong understanding of software architecture, design principles, application security, performance optimization, accessibility, and maintainability.

\n

• Ability to influence engineering teams, drive technical initiatives, and establish engineering best practices without direct management authority.

\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n

\n
• Experience with Angular architecture, RxJS, Signals, and reusable component libraries.

\n

• Experience with SwiftUI, UIKit, Swift Concurrency, or MVVM architecture.

\n

• Familiarity with microfrontend technologies such as Module Federation, Nx, or single-spa.

\n

• Experience with application security, identity integration, observability, and accessibility standards.

\n

• Experience with application modernization, framework upgrades, and technical debt reduction.

\n

• Familiarity with AWS cloud services and backend or distributed systems.
