Community Association Management Professionals (CAMP) is seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and professional Assistant General Manager to join the on-site management team of a large, upscale Homeowners Association in Lansdowne, Virginia. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the General Manager and play an important role in the day-to-day operations and ongoing enhancement of the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the General Manager to oversee daily community operations and special projects.
- Assist with project management, including coordinating contractors, schedules, communications, and follow-up.
- Support facilities management, maintenance, amenities, and common-area operations.
- Oversee and coordinate landscaping contracts and grounds maintenance, including inspections and vendor follow-up.
- Assist with staff and contractor oversight and ensure work meets community standards.
- Conduct regular indoor and outdoor property inspections and coordinate resolution of issues.
- Prepare professional resident communications, reports, letters, and emails.
- Assist with Board and community meetings, including occasional evening meetings.
- Help manage resident requests and provide professional, responsive service.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, personable, and solutions-oriented, with strong communication and follow-through skills. Community association management experience is highly valued. Experience with project management, facilities, landscaping contracts, and vendor management is a plus. A bachelor’s degree and/or CAI credentials are desirable but not required.
