As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Polkton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location as an armed, driving patrol professional, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining awareness of surroundings and established post orders.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization as directed, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.
- Prepare accurate reports on daily activities, incidents, and/or observations, and support communication with site contacts and first responders when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A valid firearms permit is preferred.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
