What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout showrooms, service areas, parking lots, entry points, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access to the location by observing entrances and exits, verifying credentials when required, and reporting suspicious persons, vehicles, and/or activity.
- Support closing and opening routines as assigned, including checking gates, doors, lighting, and high-traffic areas for security-related concerns and notifying appropriate personnel of issues.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
