MD Wholesale Foods, LLC is looking for a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair equipment at our Hyattsville, MD Food Manufacturing Plant. This role is critical to keeping our facilities running and our food safe — you’ll be the first line of defense against equipment failures that can shut down production.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on food production equipment, walk-in coolers/freezers, HVAC units, etc.

• Diagnose and repair refrigeration issues (compressors, condensers, evaporators, leaks)

• Service and troubleshoot HVAC systems, including rooftop units and ductwork

• Respond to emergency equipment breakdowns, including some after-hours/on-call availability

• Maintain maintenance logs and equipment service records

• Coordinate with outside vendors for repairs beyond in-house scope

• Handle basic electrical and plumbing troubleshooting related to kitchen equipment
