Job Title: Python Developer with Agentic AI
Location: Brooklyn, NY (Remote)
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Interview Process: 2 Rounds – In-Person Interviews
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with Agentic AI expertise to design, develop, and optimize intelligent, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems. The ideal candidate will have strong Python engineering skills, experience with modern AI agent frameworks, and a proven track record of building enterprise-grade applications and distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities

Design and implement highly scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems using Python.

Develop and optimize asynchronous applications utilizing asyncio and modern programming frameworks.

Build intelligent AI agents capable of reasoning, planning, and executing tasks autonomously.

Implement cognitive architectures, guardrails, and ReAct patterns to improve agent reliability and performance.

Develop memory and tool-use capabilities (MCP) while collaborating with prompt engineers and AI teams.

Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and code quality standards.

Perform profiling, debugging, and memory optimization to improve application performance and cost efficiency.

Implement enterprise-grade security controls, including encryption, secrets management, and compliance requirements.

Integrate and support cloud-based and data platform solutions.
Required Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with Python development.

Expertise in asyncio, multithreading, object-oriented programming (OOP), and memory management.

Experience building APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

Experience with Agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similar technologies.

Knowledge of ReAct patterns, AI agent orchestration, and tool-use capabilities.

Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing using Pytest, and type checking with Mypy.

Strong understanding of security best practices, encryption, and secrets management.

Experience working with Snowflake, Databricks, and Lakehouse architectures.

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AI/ML and modern data pipeline ecosystems.

Familiarity with AIOps and observability tools.

Experience working within AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform environments.
