𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗨.𝗦. 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗮𝘄𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 (𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀). No clearance is required for most roles. Roles above $200K typically require 10+ years of experience and a strong technical interview.

With rare exceptions, these companies consider only candidates with a computer science degree (undergraduate or graduate), because the technical interviews test algorithms, data structures, and system design. - Experience in Rust, C++, Go, Python, or TypeScript

- Experience with distributed systems, databases, or operating systems

- A record of delivering products

- Experience leading or growing a team (manager roles)
