About the job
The Senior Test Engineer will develop, implement, and optimize testing solutions for complex electronic and electromechanical products while supporting manufacturing operations.
We're looking for someone who
● Holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field
● Has 7+ years of experience in test engineering, manufacturing test, product test, or a related engineering field
● Has strong hands-on experience with PCBA and system-level testing and troubleshooting
● Has experience developing and supporting test solutions in manufacturing environments
● Is proficient with electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators
● Has experience with test automation, programming, or scripting using Python, LabVIEW, C/C++, or similar tools
● Has experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and transitioning products into production
● Demonstrates strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
● Communicates effectively and collaborates well with cross-functional teams
● Has experience in semiconductor, capital equipment, or high-volume electronics manufacturing (preferred)
What you'll do
● Develop, implement, and maintain test solutions for PCBAs, electronic assemblies, and system-level products
● Design and improve test fixtures, procedures, and automated testing processes
● Troubleshoot complex product and test failures and perform root cause analysis
● Support NPI activities and the transition of new products from Engineering into manufacturing
● Partner with Engineering teams to improve Design for Testability (DFT) and overall test coverage
● Develop and maintain test software, scripts, and automation tools to improve efficiency
● Analyze test data, production yields, and failure trends to identify improvement opportunities
● Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to test technicians and manufacturing personnel
● Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, suppliers, and contract manufacturers to resolve production and testing issues
● Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance test reliability, efficiency, and product quality
