Job DescriptionMaintenance Technician Property ManagementPay: $20.00$22.00/hr (Based on Experience & Skillset)Schedule: MondayFriday | Day ShiftOn-Call: Required after successful completion of training (rotating schedule)We are seeking a skilled, experienced Maintenance Technician to join a growing property management team. This role is responsible for keeping residential apartment communities safe, functional, and well-maintained through high-quality repairs, preventative maintenance, and responsive service.If you are a hands-on problem solver with experience across multiple trades, this is an excellent opportunity to take the next step in a stable, long-term maintenance career. Position OverviewAs a Maintenance Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain both occupied and vacant residential units. Youll work independently and as part of a team to ensure all properties meet safety, quality, and appearance standards while delivering excellent service to residents. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance and repairs in occupied and vacant residential unitsDiagnose and repair plumbing systems (faucets, toilets, drains, water heaters, piping)Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems (outlets, switches, fixtures, breakers, wiring)Perform HVAC maintenance, diagnostics, and minor system repairsComplete carpentry, drywall, flooring, painting, and general building repairsInstall and replace appliances, fixtures, and equipment as neededRespond to resident service requests and maintenance work orders promptly and professionallyPerform preventative maintenance inspections to identify and resolve issues earlyAssist with unit turns and property improvement projects as neededMaintain accurate maintenance records and communicate repair needs to managementEnsure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standardsParticipate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergency maintenance What Were Looking ForPrior experience in residential, commercial, or property maintenance requiredStrong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair workAbility to diagnose issues and complete repairs independentlyExperience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipmentHVAC certification or trade certifications are a plusStrong communication and customer service skillsValid drivers license and reliable transportation preferredAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work (climbing ladders, kneeling, bending, and working in varying conditions) Preferred ExperienceProperty management maintenance experienceHVAC troubleshooting and repairElectrical and plumbing repair workAppliance installation and repairPreventative maintenance programsCarpentry and remodeling projectsIf you're a dependable, skilled technician looking for a strong long-term opportunity with room to grow, this is a great fit to put your experience to work.
