We are seeking a Chemical Operations Superintendent for our client, a growing industrial organization investing in the expansion of its processing capabilities. As Chemical Operations Superintendent, you will lead day-to-day operations while playing an important role in bringing new processing capabilities online. You will work closely with technical and site leadership to develop the team, strengthen operating practices, resolve complex process challenges, and build a culture centered around safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead operational readiness and ramp-up activities for new process systems
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing operations team
- Establish operating procedures, training, standards, and performance expectations
- Provide visible, hands-on leadership in the field
- Drive safe and reliable operation of complex industrial process equipment
- Collaborate across engineering, maintenance, reliability, safety, and technical functions
- Lead troubleshooting and corrective-action efforts for operational and equipment challenges
- Ensure strong process safety and operational risk management practices
- Coach and develop frontline leaders and operators
- Identify opportunities to improve production, reliability, efficiency, and cost performance

The ideal candidate will bring 7+ years of operations leadership experience within chemical processing, refining, or another complex process environment, with experience supporting plant startups, expansions, commissioning, or operational ramp-ups. Candidates should have a strong understanding of industrial process equipment, controls, troubleshooting, and safe operating practices, along with a track record of building teams and developing frontline leadership.
