As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Guard in Lawnside, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and site personnel by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity, access issues, and/or operational concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, trailer yards, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and delivery traffic, verifying credentials, documenting site activity, and communicating clearly with site contacts regarding security-related matters.
- Support day-to-day operations at a busy logistics and distribution location by observing surroundings, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting with site rules, directions, and/or general information as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
