As a Site Manager, you will oversee a key Marsden account in our local Melbourne, Florida market. The Site Manager will execute a high level of customer care, ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of the facility, and will oversee the training and development of the janitorial team to provide a safe and respectful work environment for all.
Key Responsibilities
- College setting with multiple buildings, managing 40 + employees
- Conducts daily building inspections to maintain a quality level that meets the customer’s and the Company’s standards.
- Manages all associate-related matters including time and pay, training, safety, discipline, performance appraisals, damage or theft complaints, etc.
- Completes all documentation to include personnel action forms, verbal or written warnings, first report of injury, incident report, attendance verification, opening requisitions, etc.
- Knows and understands the budget for labor, supplies, and equipment of the facility.
- Must be able to operate within a changing budget environment.
- Demonstrates ability to interpret and manage the annual budget review process for the facility.
- Maintains an inventory of cleaning products and supplies and ensures cleaning equipment is accurately inventoried and in safe working order.
- Responsible for the overall cleanliness and appearance of the facility.
- Meets with the customer regularly and corrects any deficiencies within 24 hours.

Education and Experience
- Minimum 2-3 years of janitorial, facility service, or similar service-based related experience
- Must have experience managing front line service industry employees
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Previous budgeting and/or P&L experience preferred

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects and tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb, stoop, kneel or crouch; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
