Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II to support facility maintenance operations at the Honda Precision Parts manufacturing plant. This role is responsible for preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, repairs, and general facility upkeep to ensure reliable operation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
The ideal candidate has strong industrial maintenance experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Preventive Maintenance
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on facility equipment and building systems.
- Inspect equipment for wear, vibration, pressure, temperature, and operating performance.
- Replace belts, filters, hoses, fluids, and other consumable components.
- Complete maintenance activities accurately within the CMMS system.
Equipment Repair & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing systems.
- Repair pumps, valves, solenoids, air handling units, and facility equipment.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and restore operations.
- Perform start-up and shutdown procedures for facility equipment.
Building & Facility Maintenance
- Perform general building maintenance including walls, doors, ceilings, flooring, and lighting systems.
- Repair plumbing systems, including sinks, piping, valves, drains, toilets, and leak repairs.
- Replace lighting fixtures, ceiling tiles, and related building components.
- Maintain facility cleanliness and support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment specifications.
- Use electrical testing equipment including multimeters, amp clamps, and meggers on systems up to 480V.
- Maintain organized work areas, tools, and maintenance spaces.
Additional Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, cranes, and hoists as needed.
- Transport tools, equipment, and materials to job sites.
- Participate in weekend and holiday coverage rotations.
- Work overtime and respond during severe weather conditions when required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Vocational or Trade School education preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of industrial or facility maintenance experience.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing troubleshooting experience.
- Experience using CMMS for work orders and preventive maintenance.
Required Skills
- Preventive maintenance and equipment repair.

- Ability to troubleshoot facility equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of electrical systems up to 480V.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
