About the Role

\n

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Solution Architect to lead enterprise-scale finance transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance, strong solution architecture capabilities, and extensive experience partnering with finance leadership teams to modernize and optimize financial operations.

This role will be responsible for defining finance transformation strategies, leading solution design, governing SAP configuration standards, and driving adoption of SAP best practices across global finance organizations.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

\n

\n
• Lead end-to-end architecture and design of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions.

\n

• Define future-state finance operating models leveraging SAP best practices.

\n

• Design scalable and maintainable solutions aligned with Clean Core principles.

\n

• Evaluate business requirements and recommend SAP standard capabilities over customizations.

\n

• Drive finance process transformation and ERP modernization initiatives.

\n

Finance Process Leadership

\n

\n
• Serve as the functional lead across key finance domains:

\n

• General Ledger (GL)

\n

• Accounts Payable (AP)

\n

• Accounts Receivable (AR)

\n

• Asset Accounting

\n

• Cost Center Accounting

\n

• Profit Center Accounting

\n

• Internal Orders

\n

• Project Accounting

\n

• Revenue Recognition

\n

• Consolidation & Financial Reporting

\n

• Treasury & Cash Management

\n

• Conduct finance process redesign workshops.

\n

• Partner directly with finance stakeholders to align business objectives with SAP capabilities.

\n

SAP Configuration Leadership

\n

\n
• Govern SAP S/4HANA Finance configuration activities.

\n

• Define standards for:

• Ledger Design

\n

• Company Codes

\n

• Chart of Accounts

\n

• Fiscal Year Variants

• Posting Period Controls

\n

• Financial Statement Versions

\n

• Cost Structures

\n

• Parallel Accounting

\n

• Universal Journal (ACDOCA)

• Review and approve functional specifications and solution documentation.

\n

• Ensure consistency across global implementations.

\n

Reporting & Analytics

\n

• Architect financial reporting solutions utilizing:

• SAP Embedded Analytics

\n

• SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

\n

• Financial Reporting Structures

\n

• Support regulatory, statutory, management, and operational reporting.

• Establish KPI frameworks and executive reporting capabilities.

\n

• Ensure strong financial controls, governance, and audit readiness.

\n

Stakeholder & Delivery Leadership

• Facilitate executive workshops and architecture review sessions.

\n

• Act as a trusted advisor to finance leadership teams.

\n

• Collaborate with enterprise architects, data migration teams, integration teams, security teams, reporting teams, and delivery partners.

• Provide governance through all project phases:

Required Qualifications

\n

\n
• 10+ years of SAP Finance consulting experience.

\n

• 5+ years serving as a SAP Finance Lead or Solution Architect.

\n

• Multiple full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.

\n

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

\n

• Extensive experience leading finance transformation programs.

\n

• Experience working directly with CFO organizations and finance leadership teams.

\n

• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

\n
