Position Overview:
Reel Security is seeking Unarmed Security Officers to maintain the safety and security of staff, visitors, and production assets at a TV/film studio in the greater Los Angeles area. Officers may be assigned to various posts and must have flexible schedules, including days/nights, weekends and holidays.
Shift Hours: 8-hour shifts (Day, Swing, Night)
Schedule: Flexible – variable shifts required
Pay: $20/hour
Job Type: Flexible – variable shifts required
Required Qualifications:
Current and valid California BSIS Security Guard License
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
High standards of integrity and honesty
Lawful conduct history (background check required)
Professional appearance and demeanor
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Level-headed and calm under pressure
Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. if directed
Preferred Qualifications:
CPR certification
3+ years of security or related experience
Production security experience
Basic technical skills
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and secure assigned posts on studio property
Provide exceptional customer service to staff, production, and visitors
Check IDs and badges for all personnel entering the property
Maintain communication via radio with Command Center and security team
Patrol studio grounds to ensure safety and security of property
Respond calmly and professionally to emergencies following Reel Security policies
Follow chain of command and report incidents accurately
Training & Support:
Reel Security provides extensive pre-placement and ongoing training to ensure officers are fully prepared and supported in their roles.
