Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–5:30 PM

PAY:

• Computer Tester: $18.00/hour
• Computer Repair Technician: $20.00/hour

Express Employment Professionals is hiring experienced Computer Testers and Computer Repair Technicians for a growing electronics testing and refurbishment facility in North Irving.

IMPORTANT: These are NOT entry-level positions. Previous professional, hands-on computer hardware, electronics testing, troubleshooting or repair experience is REQUIRED.

POSITION 1: COMPUTER TESTER – $18/HR

We need individuals who understand computer hardware and can accurately test computers, verify specifications and identify problems.

Responsibilities:

• Test desktop and laptop computers for proper operation.
• Verify RAM, SSD/HDD, storage capacity and other system specifications.
• Use keyboard shortcuts, startup/shutdown commands and basic computer functions.
• Identify and document hardware or configuration problems.
• Record accurate testing results while meeting daily productivity expectations.

Requirements:

• Previous hands-on experience with computer hardware, electronics testing, refurbishment or technical quality control.
• Solid understanding of RAM, SSD/HDD and basic computer components.
• Comfortable using Windows commands and keyboard shortcuts.
• Able to independently verify computer specifications.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency.

POSITION 2: COMPUTER REPAIR TECHNICIAN – $20/HR

We need experienced technicians who can independently diagnose and repair computer hardware problems.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose hardware failures on various brands and models of computers.
• Disassemble and reassemble desktop and laptop computers.
• Identify and replace defective components, including motherboards, RAM, SSD/HDD, screens and other hardware.
• Troubleshoot computers that will not power on, boot or operate correctly.
• Test completed repairs and meet daily production expectations.

Requirements:

• Previous professional hands-on computer hardware repair experience.
• Able to independently diagnose hardware problems and determine the necessary repairs.
• Experience replacing internal computer components.
• Familiarity with BIOS, drivers, operating systems and diagnostic tools.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume computer repair environment.
• Must balance repair accuracy with daily productivity.

BOTH POSITIONS REQUIRE:

• Reliable attendance and transportation to North Irving.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently after training.
• Ability to meet required background screening standards.
