Opportunity available for a Local Minneapolis Backend Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java and Python to join an engineering team focused primarily on backend development, APIs, and services.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative engineer who enjoys modern development practices including TDD, automated testing, CI/CD, pair programming, and continuous delivery.

Key Responsibilities
\n
- \n
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java, Python, Spring Boot, and Groovy
- Build and support event-driven applications using Kafka
- Work with distributed databases such as CockroachDB or similar technologies
- Develop automated tests and maintain high-quality production code
- Participate in TDD, pair programming, and continuous delivery
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders
- Participate in architecture and technical design discussions
- Contribute to engineering standards and best practices
- Provide occasional frontend development support using React

Required Qualifications
