What you will be doing:

\n

The Maintenance Technician - Night Shift is a key member of our maintenance team, responsible for ensuring the operational integrity of our automotive manufacturing facility. This role requires hands-on expertise in facilities maintenance, construction, electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC. The ideal candidate is a skilled tradesperson with a strong work ethic, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

\n

Facilities Maintenance

\n

    \n
  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance on building systems and equipment.
  • \n

  • Inspect and repair facility infrastructure including walls, floors, and ceilings.
  • \n

  • Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly.
  • \n

\n


\n

Construction & Repairs

\n

    \n
  • Assist with in-house construction projects including framing, drywall, and finish work.
  • \n

  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized construction tasks.
  • \n

\n


\n

Electrical Systems

\n

    \n
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits, lighting, and control systems.
  • \n

  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
  • \n

\n


\n

Plumbing & HVAC

\n

    \n
  • Maintain and repair plumbing systems including water supply and drainage.
  • \n

  • Service HVAC systems to ensure proper heating, cooling, and ventilation.
  • \n

\n


\n

Safety & Compliance

\n

    \n
  • Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety training.
  • \n

  • Document maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • \n

\n


\n

What you'll need to be successful:

\n

    \n
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications in electrical, HVAC, or plumbing preferred.
  • \n

  • 3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related trade within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • \n

  • Experience with construction, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems is essential.
  • \n

  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • \n

  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • \n

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • \n

  • Proficiency with hand and power tools, and basic computer skills.
  • \n
