Job Description
The Maintenance Technician performs a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance tasks to keep machinery, equipment, and building systems operating safely and efficiently. This role combines hands-on repair work, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime, extend equipment life, and maintain the overall condition of the facility.

Responsibilities
- Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment to restore proper operation.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance so that machines run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the facility does not deteriorate.
- Inspect drives, motors, and belts; check fluid levels; replace filters; and complete other scheduled maintenance tasks by following established checklists.
- Use a wide range of tools, from common hand and power tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
- Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment according to safety and quality standards.
- Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions and determine the most effective repair solutions.
- Record the type, details, and cost of maintenance and repair work to support accurate tracking and planning.
- Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other moving parts of machinery to reduce wear and prevent failures.
- Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools, and reassemble equipment after repairs.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues, suggesting corrective actions, and helping to optimize maintenance procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruption to production.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.63 - $19.63/hr.
