Position: Apartment Maintenance Technician
Schedule: Full-Time

Certified Apartment Staffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a multifamily apartment community in Columbus, OH.

We are looking for a skilled maintenance professional who can hit the ground running and handle apartment maintenance, resident work orders, and make-ready needs with minimal supervision.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Previous apartment or multifamily maintenance experience is REQUIRED.

Responsibilities:

• Complete resident work orders and maintenance requests
• Perform apartment make-readies and preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general maintenance issues
• Complete unit turns and punch-list items
• Maintain common areas and property grounds
• Respond to resident requests professionally and efficiently
• Identify maintenance issues and complete repairs in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance shop

Qualifications:

• Apartment/multifamily maintenance experience REQUIRED
• Strong knowledge of general apartment repairs
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, and painting
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Professional communication and customer service skills
