We are hiring a full-time Maintenance Equipment Technician for an onsite position in Bethel Park, PA. This direct-hire role offers a consistent day shift from Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with no outside travel required. The ideal candidate will handle mechanical repairs, preventive maintenance, equipment installation, and facility maintenance for our manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment, including molding, machine shop, assembly, and packaging machines.
- Diagnose and complete mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment repairs to minimize operational downtime.
- Install, align, and set up new industrial machinery and production equipment.
- Maintain facility infrastructure, performing basic electrical wiring, plumbing, room additions, structural repairs, and routine sanitizing.
- Complete accurate preventive maintenance logs, service documentation, and equipment work orders.
- Requisition required replacement parts, tools, and maintenance supplies to support ongoing operations.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, OSHA regulations, and standard operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a maintenance technician, industrial mechanic, or equipment maintenance technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong background in mechanical repair, electrical troubleshooting, packaging machinery maintenance, and molding equipment repair.
- Practical skills in basic facility maintenance, including commercial plumbing and industrial electrical work.
- Ability to read technical manuals, interpret schematics, and complete routine maintenance schedules.
- Capability to perform physical work, operate hand and power tools safely, and work onsite in Bethel Park, PA during standard shift hours.
