Overview
Our client is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to support daily operations by keeping trucks, forklifts, and production equipment operating safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Perform diesel engine repairs and service tractor-trailers, forklifts, and other heavy-duty equipment to maintain reliable operation.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, identify root causes, and complete necessary repairs to restore equipment functionality.
- Conduct scheduled maintenance, inspect equipment components, and test machinery to identify potential failures before they cause downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair production machinery, hydraulic components, and related equipment to support daily manufacturing or warehouse operations.
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and established safety standards while documenting completed work, parts used, and maintenance activities in work orders and service records.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician, Diesel Mechanic, Fleet Mechanic, or Industrial Maintenance Technician.
- Hands-on experience servicing diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals, equipment diagrams, and service documentation.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools, electrical testing equipment, and general repair tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize repairs in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety, equipment reliability, and accurate maintenance documentation.
