General Contracting- Service Technician - Miami, FL

We are hiring a talented & dependable person to with the ability and the skill set to perform various General Maintenance & Construction jobs in the Miami region. This position will also have the opportunity to learn the HVAC trade.

Job responsibilities & requirements:
- Servicing work orders at various client locations within Dade and Broward counties and surrounding area
- Performing a variety of Facility Maintenance repair & Construction jobs including but not limited to basic electrical, plumbing, and drywall, and flooring
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Expected to be able to work independently and with others depending on scope of work
- Responding to emergency service requests
- Field sketches and bill of materials to complete larger scopes of work requiring return trips
- Plan, layout and complete scope of work according to job specifications and code requirements
- Utilizing company software to manage job and close out jobs
- Communication with the dispatching and management team
- Properly photographing existing job site conditions and work completion
- Excellent attendance, dependability and reliability are essential
- Must be able to complete scope of work according to industry quality standards and within expected time frames
- Must be able to perform general physical activities common to construction (i.e. climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials).
- Must be able to operate and professionally maintain and organize the company service trucks and other equipment safely.
