CoreKinect is seeking an experienced Odoo ERP & Business Systems Specialist to take ownership of our Odoo environment and help build the systems and processes that support our growing engineering and manufacturing organization.

Odoo 18 is already actively deployed within the company across Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales and Accounting. We are looking for someone with significant hands-on Odoo experience who can take ownership of the platform, stabilize and improve the existing implementation, and ensure Odoo accurately reflects how our business operates.
\n
\n
This is not a general software development position and is not an entry-level Odoo role. Direct, hands-on Odoo implementation and administration experience is required.
\n
\n
Initially, a major focus of this position will be assessing and improving our existing Odoo 18 environment. Longer term, this individual will serve as our internal Odoo subject matter expert and business systems owner while supporting other operational IT systems and technology initiatives.

This position works closely with the Director of Operations and directly with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales and Accounting.

Responsibilities

What You'll Own
\n
\n
Odoo ERP:
\n
- \n
- Serve as the internal owner and subject matter expert for Odoo
- Assess our existing Odoo 18 implementation and identify configuration, process and data issues
- Configure and optimize Inventory, Manufacturing/MRP, Purchase, Sales and Accounting workflows
- Manage warehouses, locations, routes, replenishment and inventory movements
- Maintain serial/lot tracking and end-to-end product traceability
- Configure and support BOMs, manufacturing orders and subcontract manufacturing
- Improve purchasing, receiving, fulfillment and shipping workflows
- Support inventory costing, valuation and financial reporting requirements
- Manage multi-company and intercompany configurations
- Maintain users, permissions, roles and access controls
- Develop dashboards, reports and operational KPIs
- Perform and oversee data imports, cleanup and migration activities
- Troubleshoot Odoo configuration, workflow, data and performance issues
- Manage Odoo upgrades, testing and deployment of system changes
- Identify opportunities for workflow automation and process improvement
- Coordinate with Odoo support and outside developers when necessary
- Develop or modify Odoo functionality when appropriate

Business Systems & IT:

Once the Odoo environment is stabilized, this role will also help support and improve other internal business systems and technology initiatives, including:

This is not primarily a help-desk position. Odoo and business systems ownership will remain the primary responsibility.

Required Qualifications:
\n
- \n
- 3+ years of hands-on Odoo implementation, administration or consulting experience
- Direct experience configuring Odoo in a production business environment
- Strong knowledge of Odoo Inventory, Manufacturing/MRP, Purchase and Sales
- Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution or product-based organizations
- Strong understanding of inventory movements, warehouses, locations, routes and replenishment
- Experience with serial and/or lot-controlled inventory
- Experience troubleshooting and improving an existing Odoo implementation
- Ability to translate operational requirements into scalable Odoo configurations
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause-analysis skills
- Ability to work directly with business users and independently drive solutions from problem identification through implementation
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Chandler, Arizona
- Must be a U.S. citizen

- Subcontract manufacturing experience
- Multi-company Odoo experience
- Odoo Accounting and inventory valuation experience
- Barcode and warehouse operations
- Quality and maintenance modules
- Large serial-number and inventory data sets
- Data migration and large-scale imports
- Python, XML, PostgreSQL, APIs and Odoo custom module development
- Experience integrating Odoo with external systems
- Manufacturing, engineering, electronics or hardware industry experience
- General IT/business systems administration experience

We value deep functional Odoo knowledge over pure software development experience. The ideal candidate understands both how Odoo works technically and how it should be configured to support real-world manufacturing and business operations.

What Success Looks Like:

Within your first several months, you will have developed a thorough understanding of our business processes and Odoo environment, addressed high-priority implementation and data issues, improved system reliability and established clear processes for how Odoo is configured and maintained. Longer term, you will help make Odoo the company's reliable source of truth for inventory, purchasing, manufacturing, fulfillment and related operational and financial information.
