Oxford Solutions is working with a manufacturing client seeking a Quality Engineering Technician for an onsite contract role. This position is ideal for someone with a strong analytical background who enjoys the documentation side of quality work and has experience supporting quality processes in a manufacturing environment.
Pay Rate: Starting at 22/hr
Responsibilities
- Support quality engineering and quality assurance documentation activities within a manufacturing environment
- Assist with PPAP documentation, FMEA updates, control plans, and process flow diagrams
- Review and maintain quality records, data packs, and compliance documentation
- Support incoming inspection activities and documentation review
- Issue Certificates of Conformance and ensure supporting documentation is accurate and complete
- Process vendor RMAs and assist with supplier quality documentation
- Support MRB/MRR processing, including documentation of nonconforming materials and related records
- Work closely with quality, engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure documentation is complete and aligned with internal requirements
- Analyze quality data and documentation to identify trends, discrepancies, or areas requiring follow-up
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quality, quality assurance, quality engineering support, or quality documentation within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with PPAPs, FMEAs, control plans, and process flow diagrams preferred
- Familiarity with incoming inspection, Certificates of Conformance, data packs, vendor RMAs, MRB, or MRR processes
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to review technical and quality documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple documentation priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with quality systems or ERP systems is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams
