Private Security Specialist / Luxury RV Captain
We are seeking a highly skilled, disciplined, and adaptable Private Security Specialist & CDL Driver to oversee the safe transit, static security, and logistical operations of a large, luxury Class A motor coach / RV.
This dual-role position requires an elite professional who can seamlessly transition between a high-level Commercial Driver and a proactive Executive Protection (EP) agent. You will be responsible for transporting high-profile clients/executives, managing vehicle maintenance, conducting route threat assessments, and securing mobile properties and perimeters across varying geographic locations.
Specialized Driving & Fleet Logistics
- Safe Coach Operation: Safely operate a large, high-value RV or custom tour bus under various weather, terrain, and traffic conditions.
- Route Planning & Threat Assessments: Pre-scout travel routes, identifying secure fuel stops, reliable RV parks, emergency medical facilities, and potential choke points or high-risk areas. [1, 2]
- Maintenance Oversight: Conduct rigorous pre- and post-trip DOT-style inspections (air brakes, fluid levels, tire pressure, generator functionality, electrical hookups). Manage scheduled mechanical servicing.
- Camp Setup & Security: Execute precision parking, leveling, and deployment of slide-outs. Handle utility hookups (water, power, sewage) swiftly while maintaining perimeter situational awareness.
️ Executive Protection & Static Security
- Asset & Personnel Protection: Provide physical security, access control, and constant situational awareness for the client, family, or guests around the coach.
- Perimeter Management: Establish secure static perimeters at RV resorts, boondocking locations, or event venues. Monitor external cameras, alarm systems, and environmental hazards.
- Crisis Management: Rapidly execute emergency evacuation protocols or evasive driving maneuvers if a security breach or dynamic threat occurs.
- Discreet Presence: Maintain a highly professional, low-profile presence, respecting the client's privacy while ensuring immediate readiness to respond to incidents.
Requirement Category
Specific Criteria
Licensing
Active Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B) with a clean DMV record and Air Brake endorsement.
Security Credentials
Valid state Guard Card / Armed Security License (where applicable) and HR 218 / LEOSA carry privileges (highly preferred).
Experience
3+ years operating large commercial vehicles (coaches, buses, or large Class A RVs) AND 2+ years in executive protection, military, or law enforcement.
Medical / First Aid
Current CPR, AED, and Advanced First Aid / Wilderness First Responder (WFR) or EMT certification.
Physical Demands
Ability to stand for long periods, work in inclement outdoor conditions, and lift up to 50 lbs (handling heavy tow packages, gear, and hookups).
